There are very few bad things to say about a game like The Last Campfire. Starts rather slow but gets a bit more challenging puzzles. Playing it is almost like going through a storybook, which I haven't felt in sometime while playing a video game. Some of the story was also quite open-ended and left unexplained, but in a way, I'm glad it wasn't over-explained, as it leaves things up to the player's own interpretation, making it a meaningful individual experience. Some moments may be more relevant than others. Early in the game, Ember finds a magic horn-type instrument that, when activated, allows you to manipulate specific objects like cubes and platforms you wouldn't be able to otherwise by clicking and dragging them. Descending many spiralling staircases to represent someone's loneliness is well-realised, while putting cubes on pressure pads doesn't have quite the same effect. The areas that you explore are unique enough that no map is required, so getting lost is not a big problem.
