The boost gauge came with a tee fitting so i figured you were supposed to run one line from a vacuum source and one from a boost sourcesilviaks2nr wrote:your diagram really confuses me with all the t fittings. Thanks to the inevitable restriction through the intercooler core, intercooler plumbing and throttle body, an engine suffers a boost pressure loss on-route to the manifold. Hello, I had my wiring harness replaced in my 1982 Volvo 240 Turbo, picked it up after hours and there is now an issue with the turbo boost gauge. The final task is to secure the faceplate to the dashboard. I see no reason you cant share it with any other source, my boost gauge runs off the same line as well. A little clarification, please (my install into 2000 normally aspirated Miata will start tomorrow). With that done, refit the seal to the firewall and poke the boost hose through to the cabin. I was gonna use the larger diameter one for my BOV vac line. If u ever have the intake manifold off, you see the 3 lines going under it go to the back and meet up with other vacuum lines for egr and scv (butterflies) and other crap. Then ran a different line from my IM to my boost gauge and wastegate. Everything seems to work now. What Boost/Vacuum Gauge are you running? If there is, then should I cap off the one I am using right now, or where should I route it to? Hey guys, this is my first official post! You may be aware that some boost gauges read positive pressure and engine vacuum; a vacuum scale is very handy for setting up an adjustable blow-off valve, general tuning and faultfinding. Cars' electrical systems will be able to cope with an extra bulb without being overloaded. But I'm not sure if would see enough vacuum to register at idle.

After the TB on the bellows tube from a brass barb is where I get my signal for my FMU, BOV, and Boost Gauge. The blue hose goes through an unused hole in the passenger side firewall. Go to lowes buy a brass fitting. I used clear epoxy on the fittings in the manifold as an extra precaution. 4L Turbo HO | Bright Silver Metallic. Deleted the Line that connects the WGA and Compressor nipple from the tee that connects with the Boost Gauge and RRFPR.. (Was told on the org that running that line would cause a high idle).

Don't apply so much glue it's impossible to remove the faceplate however - you may later need to access the back of the gauge if its bulb blows.
