My solution was to remove the slide stop on my duty pistol so it would never happen at an inopportune moment. Based on Bob's advice and everything that I've read here, I'm going to try to save up for a better gun. Sccy slide won't come off backing. Well, there's no doubt the guns are cheap as they regularly sell for as low as $200, and they look better than about 90% of polymer-framed CCW guns, at least in my opinion. The sides and back of the frame have fine texturing that digs in when you have a firm grip, and between the texturing and the finger grooves, the pistol stays in place while shooting. The DVG-1 has front and rear slide serrations. If anything, you can rely on the CPX-2 to be accurate. But red dots on handguns are the future, and nowhere will you see a pistol/red dot package for this price. It's an easy gun to take down and clean though. This messes up the final trigger-pull "feel, " which makes such pistols difficult for me to shoot. Now the slide is stuck and won't go all the way forward again, though it can go back far enough to engage the slide hold lever. SCCY does not sell optics separately. Slide stuck on reassembly. The gun tended to shoot a little bit high with these bullet weights. Speaking of ammo, the SCCY CPX-2 is rated for +P ammo, but only for limited use. There is no possible victory in defense. Overall length of the gun is 5. It also contains the slide lock.

The Glock 43X is way above the SCCY CPX in our opinion It is a mixture of the Glock 48 and Glock 43. It's also backed by Crimson Trace's three-year warranty.
