Jeff Davis High junior Darius Barge competed in the Wingfoot Night of Champions, finishing 6th overall in the shotput with a new personal record and new school record of 53 ft., 2 1/4 inches. The show is set up with the look and feel of the old cotton club. Everyone did an amazing job. The performers were very talented and professional. But the main attraction at the Asher is the multi-talented Stephens, a Lakeview native who returned to South Carolina after a whirlwind career that landed him on Comedy Central, HBO, MTV and Showtime as well as the stages of the Grand Ole Opry and Carnegie Hall. We liked how the characters were incorporated around the room. The only thing better than the food is the performance!
