The 72nd Annual South Dakota All-State Band event will be held at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the campus of South Dakota State University in Brookings on March 24-26. Students were selected after reviewing over 300 recorded auditions from various music programs across the state. Hope, a freshman, was selected second chair bass clarinet in the LaCognata ensemble. First time since 1999 that Mitchell has hosted event.
