I was absolutely hooked by this emotional and gripping story from page 1. Ann walks out to find help, accompanied by Kyle, leaving her dead daughter and badly injured husband and her son Oz behind. Absolutely gripping, emotional, and fast-paced. But when her research program runs out of funding, she's adrift once again and decides to return to the safe harbor of her family and friends. An Absolutely Addictive Mystery and Suspense Novel. Finn's thirteen year old brother is developmentally challenged. A horrendous accident, Finn is killed instantly and from there the real story begins as each character makes their choices. The only redeeming qualities were suzanne redfearn's relatively readable prose, and mo, who is an incredible friend. Add me to the list of people who sat down and read this book in one day.
