Later, I saw the Dead sporadically, maybe three or four times in 1979 and the early 80s. It felt pretty damn good, too. This was all done for us, as fans. Subject: The music is always there. This show is crap!!!! I'm just throwing in my two cents that what I hear here is very poor in light of what I know this band was capable of on a good night. I don't listen to much after 1985 at the latest, as there are so few shows that are blessed with the incredibleness that was the Grateful Dead at their peak. Knew something, maybe that it was the last show. I did not come down, negate, nor take away ANYTHING from either one of these musicians. Jerry was quoted saying, " There's always one more tour, one more show, one more benefit. " Subject: so many roads to ease his soul. People who do that just dont get it! Although we no longer have jerry, the music never stopped. As for all of the negative comments about tour, etc. Bobby was right on, though. So I'm happy I got to see them while I could. I'd yet to see a show at Red Rocks as this would have been my first, but I was able to check out the venue and attached museum a few years back during one of my trips to Colorado. But songs with an intangible that sucked you into the songs.... as if you were sitting round the fire and the Dire Wolf showed up..... or you were the guy laying there dying ala Black Peter. Time to go back to the beginning, when we were all younger than we are today and Jerry was hitting on all four cylinders. Miss you big guy - 5 STARS and the gratest version of So Many Roads ever. I would never listen to anything after 1990, but I always check out shows from this day in Dead history, just about every day of the year. '91 and '92 had their moments but things were really unravelling fast by the this point. Therefore, let us dispense with the obvious, which is that this is clearly intended to be interpreted spiritually. Okay, okay, it wasn't one of the greatest shows, but it wasn't bad. I'm a musician myself, and I can tell you that you are only as good as your audience.

Subject: The last concert, a must listen for Deadheads. He changed his finguring technique from a three-fingered rock-blues style to a four-fingered jazz style.
