It's hard to pick a side but I love that choosing sides was beside the point all along. Too much of either problem on the first page, and you're probably better off moving on to the next book in your bedside book stack. The world was complex and interesting but since it's a standalone and that you're following 4 main POV it got quite overwhelming at times.
