We walked to the local shopping plaza for ice cream and water. Bathrooms and shower were adequite. We were voted #1 Favorite Marina in the NE by Northeast Boating & Offshore Magazine and were Voted in the Top 5 Favorite Marinas to visit in the Northeast by 17 years in a row! Have to also add that there are extraordinary and inexpensive divers and mechanics here at least 6 days a week. Met us at the slip to help get tied up. Steve was great and I think he would have been our personal tour guide if he wasn't the only one working when we were at the marina. It's our first time from Long Island up this far, and we will definitely be coming again!! Dockmaster Aly are terrific hosts. Excellent communication from Steve who provided marina maps and a video to make the arrival very easy. Steve is fantastic, and he works very hard to ensure that you receive excellent service. He truly went above and beyond to assure our stay was enjoyable. Upon arrival we were met by the dockmaster Steve Plotkin who guided us in and tied us up. Our stay at Half Moon Bay Marina this past weekend was fabulous. This will not be the fanciest marina you will ever stay at, but absolutely the friendliest and memorable.

Half Moon Bay is a cut above all the rest of the Hudson River marinas. We look forward to coming back. The marina is super quiet and the views are stellar. It did get very windy in the afternoon so we bumped around a lot but it calmed down in the night and was very peaceful after that. Good docks no issues with power or water. Super friendly and helpful dockmaster Steve and staff made visit extra special. Steve and his team are fantastic. In the end, we paid for 6 days and got 1 free. Located just 20 miles north of the George Washington Bridge, Half Moon Bay Marina is a must see stop on the Hudson River for vessels both large and small. Steve attentiveness was above and beyond what you see @ most marinas! Floating docks and very protected marina. Come linger at Half Moon Bay.

The management as well as staff at Half Moon Bay Marina, (led by Dockmaster Steve Plotkin) is exceptional! Had a great stay at Half Moon Bay. On site mechanics and resident diver. The head and showers are always clean and in good condition. Reasonable shelter from east and south winds but if there's any 'west' in the wind, it's not comfortable. 2, 000 tons of contaminated soil were excavated, transported, and properly disposed off-site. Half Moon Bay is a very safe and well - protected marina with floating docks and an excellent view of the Hudson River. Steve works hard and AGLCA sponsorship is appreciated.
