Twin Cities 10 Mile Race
This weekend will see the 40th anniversary of the Twin Cities Marathon. The Cities are worth visiting as there are many things to do in many areas, i. e., arts, sports, museums, shopping. Finally, the crowds. Hillary Bor from Colorado Springs won the men's 10-mile race, setting a course record with a time of 46:06. Because the women started almost six minutes before the men, O'Keeffe, 24, spent much of the race alone with no idea what was happening on the course behind her — which was unsettling to her. Runners start the out-and-back course for the race in Minnehaha Park, and from there they'll head north along Godfrey Parkway.

The races take place on November 5, during New York City Marathon Weekend. Get ready for a beautiful 10-mile run along the banks of the Mississippi River where it flows through the heart of the Twin Cities, at a race designed just for women at the heart of the spring season. By the halfway point, the lead pack dwindled down to six athletes. Awards will be presented at the Finish as soon as official results are available from the timer.
