Hospice of North Ottawa Community's annual Tree of Life is a community tradition that gives us a way to honor and demonstrate love for those we have lost, recently or long ago.

Hospice Tree Of Lights

The Community Hospice is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing high quality end-of-life care to residents of eight counties covering over 4, 000 square miles in Upstate New York State. This year resulted in over $64, 000 to support the mission of compassionate care. During the campaign the community has the opportunity to light a light on the tree in honor or memory of a special person in their life, making this a sentimental favorite of our Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and the community alike. I gain so much at this service as it helps me deal with my grief, reflect on fond memories, and makes me feel good knowing I'm honoring my loved ones. This year we will not be selling ornaments on site, but the tree can be viewed at Center Court at Governor's Square Mall. We are sorry we can't spend time with you to chat and paint rocks together, but we are happy we'll get to see you briefly when you pick up your kits.
