Secondly, be careful who you try to impress with your "many DA and SA pistols", many of us here would consider your collection a "good start". That said, never had this issue post-Cerakote up until tonight. Is it a brand new barrel/slide combo or one well mated off a previous gun?

4. ordered trigger spring, firing pin spring, and a titanium plunger. I would say my problems are solved because I do agree the Omega 9k is a pretty heavy suppressor. If the slide stop spring goes under the top pin then it's installed correctly. Have you disassembled and done the "plunk" test with the ammo? I ride the reset out and fire again. Because that will have more powder it might overcome the issue better. I also noticed if I held the trigger back after a shot the slide would sometimes not go forward all the way until I released the trigger. The funny thing is aluminum cased Blazer fmj ammo shot fine. My current theory is that the connector is bent out too far and is pushing/dragging on the slide's cam surface hence the slide returns to battery when sling-shotted rapidly with full momentum but not when cycled slowly. I did this because I had to release the trigger all the way for the slide to return to battery during the first two range trips. I would remove the slide, and flick the slide stop up and check to see that it returns back down with authority and speed. Yes, I function check my G17 every time I reassemble after cleaning. Sounds like break-in is needed via more rounds or racking by hand. I've used Sellier and Bellot and another brand but can't remember what it is.
