Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 1:00 p. the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home. Danny was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, having served his country for 8 years. Surviving family include his son, Guy Daniel Canada (and Heather) of Whitley City; his daughters, Carla Sue Canada (and Roy Bryant) of Whitley City, and Mikayla Coffey (and Coleman) of Somerset; grandchildren, Kemisha Bryant (and Mario), Jacob Taylor, Donovan Buis (and Gabby), and Devon Buis; and great-grandchildren, Khloe, Trinidad, Treyson, Oakland, Mercedes, and a baby girl on the way.

He continued his education at Cincinnati State in Ohio graduating with an associate's degree in graphics design. Preceding him in death were his parents and 18 siblings. He is survived by his son, Robert (Mary) Taylor; daughter, Jeri (Jason) Rucker; sisters, Eula VanOver and Lucy Jones; grandchild Brady Taylor (USMC); step-children, Tammy Goff (James Durbin), James Rucker Jr., Mike Rucker, and Crystal Rucker (Thomas Dillon); step-grandchild, Anthony Goff; and special friend and caregiver, Ronnie Walls, Sr. A graveside service was held Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Upper Pinch Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Graveside service were at Pine Knot Cemetery, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Brother Nate Howard officiating. Fred retired from the United States Air Force, was a member of the Pleasant Run Church, the Gideons McCreary Chapter, Orie S. Ware Masonic Lodge #874, Laurel Heights Chapter #288 Order of the Eastern Star, and the American Legion Post #115. She had a great love and passion for caring for others. He loved spending quality time with his family. He was the son of Gail Howell and Robert Lee Huddleston, born in Fort Campbell on August 10, 1962. But most importantly she was a caring friend in which they could confide. Betty grew up in Pine Knot, Kentucky and married her high school sweetheart in August of 1954. Preceding her in death were her parents, her lifelong companion, Ronald Lee Spradlin, a brother, Goman Vanover, a special nephew, Dwayne Vanover and a grandson, Chris Stephens. Marie was known for her generosity, compassion, and humble spirit.

Friends may call from 12:00 until the time of the service. Survivors include her sons; daughters; Julie Dobbs and companion, Calvin Hodges, Deanna and husband Bo Lewis, all of Stearns, Kentucky, Eric Crawford of Oneida, TN and Shain Higgins also of Oneida, sister; Viola Coffey, also of Stearns, grandchildren; R. D., Cyndi, Daegan and Kaemyn, niece; Tonya Cordell, nephew; Allen Bowden, special sister-in-law and dear friend; Jewel Roberts, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and too many good friends to name. She was born August 4, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Donald and Sharon (Ross) Broughton. Pallbearers were family and friends. Chuck was a special friend to many and always enjoyed making others laugh and smile. Laura was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord. He was honored as a Kentucky Colonel in 1992. Cheri was a homemaker and had been a truck driver for Knight Transport. He is survived by his wife, Vonda Courtney, of Whitley City, KY., Sons, Letsgo Courtney of Monticello, KY, Danny Joe Courtney of Whitley City, KY., Richard Lee King of Wiborg, KY., Charles Ebb King and wife Rebecca of Keno, KY., and David Nelson Tinch and wife Michelle of Rockholds, KY., daughters, Deborah Woods of Whitley City, KY., Geneva Goodin and husband Kenneth of Whitley City, Ky., sister, Mary Lewis of Georgetown, KY. 22 grand-children and 35 great-grandchildren. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Ashton Renee Goins. Orvil was of the Baptist faith and was a carpenter of trade. Surviving family include her children: Gracelynn Braden Coffey of Whitley City, Melody Perry, Alijah Perry and Hunter Perry. Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers Jerry and Thomas Sharpton; a sister Edna Ruth Jason; step-children, Debbie Canada, Jackson King; step-granddaughters Elizabeth King, Brandy Nichole King; and daughter in-law Margie King. Maedean taught business education classes in the McCreary County School System for 32 years.
She is survived by one son, Jack Lee Braden; two brothers, Dennis and Ralph Neal; two sisters, Judy Redden and Mavis Hughes; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; good friend Carlos Hrinko; her beloved dog, Tubby; and a special niece, Debbie. He was born in Somerset Kentucky the son of Clarence and Shelby (Kennedy) Heath. November 5, 2010 was proclaimed Edsel Blevins week in his beloved McCreary County. During this time they lived in American Fork, Utah and later in Layton, Utah. The Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. John Moore. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping, riding thru the country and horseback riding. She is preceded in death by her mother.

Burial will follow in the Kidd Cemetery. Leroy Wallen, age 58 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Big South Fork Medical Center In Oneida, Tennessee. Betty Rose Trammell, age 84, widow of Charles Trammell, of the Murphy Ridge Community, passed from this life on Friday, March 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services were held Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Visitation was held on Wednesday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the fuenral home. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and one of his biggest joys was playing guitar and singing for family and friends. Ravyn Elizabeth Devine Clark, age 17 years of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Monday, April 22, 2019 at the Big Southfork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee. Don loved coaching, teaching, and helping others. Virginia is survived by: three sons, Frank Perry, Tim Sizemore, and Mark Jacobs; three daughters, Gloria Mills and husband, James, Lisa Seiguer, and Joann Osbourne; one brother, Don Neal and wife, Kathy; one sister, Mary Agostino, seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Cleta was a homemaker and member of the Mill Creek Methodist Church. She had worked in the cutting department in the Shirt Factory, a machine operator for the Spring Milling Factory, but the most important job was being a Homemaker. She was born at Fork Ridge, Kentucky in Bell County, on April 19, 1944. She taught Special Education and sixth grade at Whitley City Elementary.

Tracy Lynn Phillips, age 50 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. She was born on June 9, 1979 in Oneida, Tennessee to Arnold Godsey and the late Geneda Stephens. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. He was born April 11, 1952, in Oneida, Tennessee, to James Coffey and Lona Flynn Coffey.

Sheila enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. He was born on August 31, 1936, at his parents' residence in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on October 4, 1927 the daughter of Robert and Nazzie (Strong) Griffith. "She believed she could, so she did". Dave was well liked and respected by everyone he came into contact with. He was born in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky on December 24, 1974 the son of Roger and Linda Marie (Wilson) Tucker. She enjoyed watching UK basketball and baseball, staying in touch on Facebook and going on drives to look for deer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Dunham King, Jr., Roger King, Lewis King, Herbert King, Charles King, and Morris King; and sisters, Beulah Minton, Edith Corey, Betty Hollinsworth, Donna Carroll, Sandra Brown, Agnes Smithers, and Doris King. Memorial service were Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Millcreek Methodist Church in Sawyer, Kentucky. Burial followed in the Davis Family Cemetery with Bro. Tapley) Tucker; and sister, Wanda Moore precede him in death.
